MIT Emerging Talent, Na’amal and Karam Foundation co-host the Migration Summit, a global convening designed to build bridges between diverse communities – including displaced learners, universities, companies, nonprofits and NGOs, social enterprises, foundations, philanthropists, researchers, and employers – around the key challenges and opportunities for refugee and migrant communities.
The aim of this series is to highlight the untapped talent within refugee communities — talent that extends beyond personal growth to creating opportunities for others. From entrepreneurship to technical expertise, these potraits showcase the diverse and adaptable skill sets that can enrich any professional environment.
This interactive map brings to life the depth and breadth of the hundreds of participating organizations in the Migration Summit community, all of whom are dedicated to supporting displaced communities through advocacy, education, and employment pathways.
This Employers’ Guide was designed to support organizations in each step of the recruitment and hiring journey, from the strategic planning stage to implementation. It included critical insights and examples from the Migration Summit, emphasizing accessibility, empowerment, and authentic community building.
