The Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI) delivers tailored mentorship curriculum designed to help underrepresented talent successfully enter the workforce.

Enhancing Language Proficiency

Paper Airplanes provides English language learning to support learners in their online studies and professional communication.

Nurturing Employability Skills

Na’amal delivers soft skills and employability training, equipping learners with the expertise needed to thrive in diverse remote and professional environments.

Connecting Learners Globally

Give Internet and Close the Gap ensure learners have access to computers, bridging the digital divide and creating conducive learning environments.

Unconnected.org addresses internet connectivity challenges for learners who wouldn’t otherwise have access.

Looking to do your part? Here's how you can get involved:

  • Hire MIT Emerging Talent learners and alumni through full-time employment or providing internship opportunities.
  • Host or recommend supplemental learning opportunities such as workshops, hackathons, and networking events, online or in person.
  • Donate technical equipment and provide access to physical spaces where learners can meet, study, and work together.
  • Design curriculum and programming—join as an instructor, coach, or mentor
  • Be an advocate and public champion for Emerging Talent
  • Recruit and connect us with potential ambassadors, partners, and sponsors
